As a child, I started to draw… To me, art is an escape of the reality. As a shy, quiet kid, that’s the easiest way to communicate. I started my formal art classes at National Academy School of Fine Arts ( Sharon Sprung,), Art Student League and fashion design at FIT.
When I was a teenager, I did my first homo erotic drawing. I had to hide it very well so no one could see it. Unfortunately, my aunt found it… it became such a shame and horrifying experience to me. I was too young to understand and accept myself for being gay. All I knew was that I like men and it’s a TABOO. There were very few resources and places to find other gay men. As a high school kid, it was a lonely road. I’m glad it’s different now in
Some people say my works are mysterious and moody. I guess it probably has something to do with my background. I like my work in a more subtle way and leave the viewers some space to create their own story.
I currently live in New Jersey , USA.
